Participation in the auction requires registration. The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the service provider's system functionality. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider's system has accepted as highest. The bailiff will decide separately to accept or reject the highest bid within seven working days of the end of the online auction. Acceptance of the bid and payment details will be notified to the buyer separately.

Bids are made on the purchase price, which does not include charges payable by the buyer under the Housing Companies Act (see the sales prospectus section “obligations and rights transferred to the buyer” for details). Any amounts due to the housing company must be paid directly to the company; the price paid to enforcement does not reduce them in any way.

Bids placed in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered price may lead to the buyer's liability for compensation under Section 25, Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code. The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

Payment terms: The buyer must immediately pay a deposit of 20 per cent of the purchase price to the Enforcement Authority's official account. The deposit cannot be paid by credit card. If the highest bid is accepted, payment of the remainder may, if necessary, be deferred for up to six weeks. If no extension is used, the purchase price must be paid promptly after acceptance of the bid. If an extension is used, annual interest is payable on the full purchase price pursuant to Section 3(2) of the Interest Act for the entire extension period from the sale date to the end of the payment period.

Appeals: An enforcement appeal concerning the sale or actions related to or preceding the sale must be made within three weeks from the date of sale. Instructions on how to appeal are attached to the sales decision.

Terms of sale:

The property has been seized and is sold privately by the enforcement officer in accordance with Section 76, Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code and the Code's general auction terms. The enforcement officer may accept or reject the highest bid. More information is available in the sales prospectus.
