Conclusion of the sale:

In the auction, the highest bidder must sign the deed of sale during September–October 2026.

In addition to the purchase price, the buyer of the property must pay transfer tax of 3% of the purchase price.

The property sale is signed in the National Land Survey of Finland's electronic property transaction service; in addition to the transfer tax, the buyer pays EUR 236. This fee includes applying for title registration and drafting the deed of sale.

If desired, you may redeem the plot during the lease term. Paid rents are not credited against the purchase price; the plots are sold according to the prevailing price level.
The lease agreement will include a free right of transfer.
Metsähallitus checks the tenant's credit information before making the leasing decision; leasing will not be possible if there are entries in the credit record.

Withdrawing from the sale/lease:

A party that refuses to enter into a sale or lease agreement must, under the Land Code, compensate the other party for reasonable costs arising from advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary measures related to the transaction.
