The Municipality of Vihti is selling, by public auction, a lot from the shoreline area of Poikkipuoliainen lake at Tervalampi. The area is covered by Vihti’s strategic master plan, where the lot is designated as an agricultural/rural livelihoods area. The area is also designated as requiring partial local master planning.

The sold plot carries a building obligation: the buyer undertakes to construct a residential building on the plot within five (5) years of the sale to such a level of completion that the building control authority can carry out an acceptable final inspection under section 122 of the Building Act or an acceptable partial final inspection under section 123. If the buyer neglects the building obligation, they must pay the seller a contractual penalty equal to 20% of the plot purchase price for each commenced year of delay for five (5) years, until the obligation has been fulfilled.


Resale and transfer of the plot

The buyer undertakes not to sell or otherwise transfer the plot as undeveloped unless the municipality gives written consent. If the buyer transfers the plot undeveloped contrary to this agreement, the buyer shall pay the seller a contractual penalty equal to 100% of the plot’s sale price as a single payment.


The deed of sale must be signed within three (3) months of the sale decision becoming final. If the deed of sale is not signed within three (3) months of the final sale decision, the sale decision will lapse.
