For sale to the highest bidder as a single price: three adjacent, already subdivided recreational plots. The properties are located in Kittilä between Veittivuoma and Lohiniva, close to Rovaniementie. Bid here for easily accessible, secluded cottage sites or a forest parcel where you can cut firewood or carve a shelter.

Total area 25,117 m², i.e. 2.5 hectares. A combined area of over 2 hectares may allow the sites to be classified as forestry land exempt from property tax.

The plots are not inside a current zoning plan, so when applying for a building permit the municipality will assess suitability and decide accordingly. The ground on the plots is load-bearing year-round, electricity is available and a road connection is ready. There are a few neighbouring plots that were subdivided at the same time and have recreational cottages built on them.

The plots have an untouched, roughly 50-year-old diverse mixed stand. Site type is fresh forest. Based on open forest inventory data, the holdings contain a total of 327 m³ of merchantable timber. Rovaniementie 4987 is the nearest address. From the road to the western boundary of the Kaukainen property is about 400 metres, of which the first 200 m is existing roadbed. If you wish to drive right to the property, the final section requires road construction as shown in the attached right-of-way map.

Distances:

70 km to Levi, 100 km to Rovaniemi. The route is served by buses. At the plots there is a bus stop on both sides of Rovaniementie, making the sites easily reachable even by public transport. Kittilä and Rovaniemi also have airports. Lohiniva's K-Market is about a five-minute drive. Levi and Ylläs ski resorts and the national park are also within reasonable driving distance. The location also has potential for Airbnb or similar accommodation business.

The area is surrounded by majestic Lapland wilderness. Karhula and Porola border a small bog with a little stream running through it. You can easily draw water for a sauna from the stream. The nearest state hunting area border is a few hundred metres from the plots (Maunu 2613). Day permits for the area are sold online to those with a hunting licence. In Lapland, fishing waters await as well. You can fish in the Ounasjoki river, whose bank is about 5 km by car. There are also smaller waters in the vicinity that will keep an angler busy for years.
