Seized leisure property with buildings for sale in Simo, Simo

The property is sold on the www.huutokaupat.com website in an online auction from 7 April to 22 April 2026. Participation requires registration. The deadline for submitting bids ends on 22 April 2026 at 13:00 (or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid).

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has accepted as highest. The enforcement officer will decide whether to accept or reject the highest bid. Bids made in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability to compensate in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

The property is seized and sold privately under the supervision of the enforcement officer in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 76 of the Enforcement Code and, where applicable, the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code.

Payment terms

The enforcement officer will inform the highest bidder whether the offer can be accepted. If the offer can be accepted, the buyer pays the full purchase price by bank transfer to the Enforcement Authority’s official account. Once the payment is visible on the account, the enforcement officer will issue the sale decision, which will be delivered to the parties. The purchase price cannot be paid by credit card.

Deposit: If the full purchase price is not paid immediately, the buyer must pay a deposit of 20% of the purchase price immediately.

Payment period: If necessary, up to six weeks’ payment time may be granted for the remaining purchase price from the sale decision. In that case, annual interest is payable on the whole purchase price for the payment period from the sale date until the end of the payment period. The reference rate is currently 2.50%. If payment is not made within the granted payment period, annual default interest will be charged thereafter, currently 9.50%.

Buyer’s liabilities that transfer to the buyer

On transfer of title, the buyer must pay the transfer tax of three per cent on their own initiative before applying for title registration and at the latest within six months of signing the deed. The buyer is responsible for the costs of title registration and the transfer tax.

The State has a pre-emptive right to purchase the property if acquisition is necessary for national defence, border control or border security, or to ensure regional territorial integrity (Act on the State’s pre-emptive right in certain areas 29.3.2019/469).

Foreign persons defined by law may acquire real estate on the territory of the Republic of Finland only if a permit is granted (Act on the State’s pre-emptive right in certain areas 29.3.2019/470).

The object is sold in a rising-bid online auction on the website www.huutokaupat.com. The deadline for submitting purchase bids expires on 22 April 2026 at 13:00 (or 3 minutes after the last bid accepted to the auction).

The enforcement officer decides separately whether the highest bid shall be accepted or rejected. Bids placed in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment time. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability to compensate under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

The enforcement officer reserves the right to close the sale or extend the sales period.

If it is not possible to place a bid via the service Huutokaupat.com, a prospective buyer may submit a written bid to the enforcement officer. The bid will be entered into the online auction as a maximum bid according to the automatic bidding. The bid must be submitted in writing to the Enforcement Authority by 21 April 2026 at 12:00 to the address: Utsökningsverket / Kemi verksamhetsställe, Valtakatu 28, 4krs., 94100 Kemi. A written bid is binding and is subject to the same terms as the online auction. The written bid must be signed and must state the bidder’s contact details, the maximum amount of the bid and the number of the object in the Huutokaupat.com service to which the bid relates.
