Seized detached house property in Varkaus (Petkelniemi), Varkaus

The property will be sold by competitive bidding in an online auction on www.huutokaupat.com between 30/04/2026 and 21/05/2026.

Participation requires registration. The deadline for submitting bids ends on 21/05/2026 at 14:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the service provider's system. The highest bid is the one the service provider's system has accepted as the highest.

The enforcement officer will decide separately whether to accept or reject the highest bid. The decision may take more than two days.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. The highest bidder has no right of withdrawal. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer's liability under section 25, Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code.

If it is not possible to submit an offer via the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written purchase offer to the enforcement officer. The offer will be attached to the online auction as the maximum bid according to the automatic increment system. The written offer must be delivered no later than 19/05/2026 at 12:00 to: Ulosottolaitos, Mikkeli office, Raatihuoneenkatu 5, 5th floor, 50100 Mikkeli or by email to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

The written offer is binding and subject to the same terms as the online auction. The written offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum amount of the offer and the auction item number in the online service.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

Participants in the online auction are urged to ensure that their contact details registered with www.huutokaupat.com are up to date. As a rule, the buyer and new owner will be the person whose bid in the online auction has been accepted. If a bidder has made a bid wholly or partly on behalf of another, they must present a power of attorney or other proof.

The property is seized and will be sold by free sale conducted by the enforcement officer, observing, where applicable, the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code.

Prospective buyers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the property, the sales brochure and the attached documents.

An appeal against the sale or related actions must be lodged within three weeks from the date of the sale. The appeal instructions are attached to the sale decision.
