Seized detached house property in Varkaus (Petkelniemi), Varkaus

The property will be sold by rising bids in an online auction held on the www.huutokaupat.com website between 5 March 2026 and 26 March 2026.

Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for submitting bids ends on 26 March 2026 at 14:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the service provider's system. The highest bid is the one that the service provider's system has recorded as the highest accepted bid.

The bailiff will decide separately whether to accept or reject the highest bid. A decision may take more than two days.

Bids made in the online auction are binding. The highest bidder has no right of withdrawal. If a bid is accepted, the bidder must pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered price may result in the buyer's liability to compensate under section 25 of Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code.

If it is not possible to submit a purchase bid via the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may send a written purchase offer to the bailiff. The offer will be entered into the online auction as the maximum bid according to the automatic increment. The offer must be submitted in writing no later than 24 March 2026 at 12:00 to: Enforcement Authority, Mikkeli office, Raatihuoneenkatu 5, 5th floor, 50100 Mikkeli, or by e‑mail to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

A written offer is binding and is subject to the same conditions as the online auction. The written offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum bid amount, and the online auction reference number to which the offer applies.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sales period.

Participants in the online auction are advised to ensure that the contact details registered on www.huutokaupat.com are up to date. As a rule, the buyer and new owner will be the person whose bid is accepted in the online auction. If a bid has been made wholly or partly on behalf of another person, a power of attorney or other proof must be provided.

The property is seized and is sold by the bailiff in a free sale, applying as appropriate the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code.

Prospective buyers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the property for sale, the sales brochure and the attached documents.

An appeal against the sale or any sale-related or pre-sale action must be made within three weeks from the date of sale. Information on how to appeal will be attached to the sales decision.
