Water and sewer connections:

In Sillankorva the water supplier is the City of Alajärvi. The water connection price is calculated based on square metres. For example, the price for a connection for a 120 m² detached house is: 6 × building floor area × €1.25 (VAT 0%). That is €900 (VAT 0%). In addition, a house shut-off valve installation is charged at a fixed price of €520 (VAT 0%). The interface point is the water shut-off at the plot boundary; any excavations and pipework on the plot side beyond the shut-off are carried out by the builder at their expense. The buyer also purchases a water meter, priced at €45 (VAT 0%).

Conditional offers will not be accepted.

Bids made in the auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in liability for compensation.

If the highest binding bidder makes an unfounded offer, they must pay the seller a penalty of €1,000 within 3 days to cover incurred costs.

The City of Alajärvi’s authorised official reserves the right to accept or reject the highest offer. The final highest offered purchase price requires approval by the Alajärvi City Board and a separate sales decision.

The offer will be processed by the City of Alajärvi’s authorised official.

Concluding the sale

The buyer shall pay the purchase price and the price must be paid at the signing.

The buyer is responsible for any transfer tax arising from this sale.

The buyer will receive ownership of the property after the City of Alajärvi’s authorised official’s sales decision, signing of the deed and payment of the purchase price.

NOTE!

The highest bidder must pay a reservation fee of €500 (five hundred) within 3 days of the auction ending to an account designated by the city. The reservation fee will be refunded when the full purchase price has been paid within the given term. No interest will be paid on the reservation fee.
