The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

The winning bidder must provide and have approved by the landlord a description of the intended use of the premises.

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the lease.

Bidders agree that their contact details may be disclosed by Huutokaupat.com to the advertiser to enable the rental decision and related notification.

Offers
The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request additional information or clarifications from bidders and to reject all offers. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selection.

Bidding period

The bidding period begins on 1 February 2026 and ends on 28 February 2026 at 13:00 or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids must be placed in the Huutokaupat.com service by the stated time. The property can only be rented to a bidder registered in the system.

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the one the service provider’s system has accepted as highest.

Offers placed in the online auction are binding.

Conditions for acceptance

Acceptance of an offer and conclusion of the lease require that the tenant’s credit record contains no adverse entries and that neither the tenant, the tenant’s owner nor any party exercising control over the tenant is subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union or the United Nations. By placing an offer the tenant warrants that these conditions are met.

Inspection of the property

The property is let in the condition and with the fixtures shown in the advertisement and as at the time of signing the lease. Before placing a binding bid, bidders are obliged to inspect the premises and the documents themselves. The tenant may not subsequently refer to matters that could have been observed during the pre-inspection. By submitting a bid the bidder accepts the condition of the property as is.

Conclusion of the lease

The security deposit must be paid in full, and the lease must be signed no later than one month after the decision notification is sent to the tenant, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selection.
