Bidders agree that their contact details may be passed by Huutokaupat.com to the seller to enable notification of the sales decision.

Offers must be submitted by the stated deadline. The highest offer is the one accepted by the seller as the highest. It is also possible to participate in the auction in person by submitting an offer to the seller on site.
By making an offer, the bidder accepts these terms of sale when placing their bid.

Inspection of the property

Before making an offer, the bidder is obliged to inspect the property, the related documents and other information relevant to the sale. The buyer may not later rely on any matter that could have been discovered during the preliminary inspection.

Information provided by the seller

The seller warrants that they have provided the buyer with information known to them that may reasonably be assumed to materially affect the transaction. Consumption data for the property will be provided on request.

Formation and conclusion of a binding contract

Acceptance of the highest offer does not constitute a binding property sale under the Land Code. A binding sale is formed only when the parties have signed a sales contract under the Land Code and the transaction has been confirmed by a public official.

The time and place for signing the sales contract will be agreed separately with the buyer. The purchase price is paid at the signing. The buyer pays the conveyancer's fee.

Other costs

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax applicable under current law and the costs related to applying for title registration.

Withdrawal from the sale

A party that refuses to conclude the sale must, under the Land Code, compensate the other party for reasonable costs incurred from advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary steps related to the sale, up to a maximum of €1,000.
