Terms of offer

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest offer.

The winner of the competition must submit and have approved by the landlord a description of the activity to be carried out on the premises.

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the lease.

Bidders agree that their contact details may be disclosed by Huutokaupat.com to the advertiser to enable notification of the rental decision.

Offers
The City of Helsinki, Department of Urban Environment, reserves the right to request additional information and clarifications from bidders and to reject all offers. All bidders will be informed of the tenant selection.

Bidding period

The bidding period starts on 1 Feb 2026 and ends on 28 Feb 2026 at 13:00 or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids are made in the Huutokaupat.com service by the stated deadline. The property can only be let to a bidder registered in the system.

The City of Helsinki, Department of Urban Environment, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City of Helsinki is not responsible for the operation of the service provider's system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider's system has accepted as the highest.

Online auction bids are binding.

Conditions for acceptance of an offer

Acceptance of an offer and conclusion of the lease require that the tenant has no adverse entries in their credit information and that neither the tenant, the tenant's owner(s) nor any party exercising control over the tenant is subject to sanctions by the European Union or the UN. By making an offer the tenant certifies that these conditions are met.

Inspection of the property

The property is let in the condition and with the fittings shown in the notice and at the time of signing the lease. Bidders must inspect the property and the documents themselves before making a binding offer. The tenant may not later refer to matters that could have been observed during the prior inspection. By submitting an offer the bidder accepts the condition of the property as is.

Conclusion of the lease

The security deposit must be paid in full, and the lease must be signed no later than one month from the date the decision notice is sent to the tenant, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be informed of the tenant selection.
