Offers

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request further information and clarifications from the party submitting an offer, as well as the right to reject all offers. All parties submitting offers will be notified of the tenant selected.

Offer period 

The offer period starts on 26 October 2026 and ends on 15 November 2026 at 13:00 or three minutes after the last accepted offer. Offers (bids) must be made via the Huutokaupat.com service by the stated time. The property may only be let to a party that has submitted an offer recorded in the system.

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest offer. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the functioning of the service provider’s system. The highest offer is the offer that the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest.

Offers submitted in the online auction are binding.

Conditions for accepting an offer

Acceptance of an offer and conclusion of the rental agreement require that the tenant has no payment default entries in their credit records and that neither the tenant, an entity owning the tenant, nor an entity exercising control over the tenant is subject to European Union or UN sanctions. By submitting an offer, the tenant confirms that they meet the above conditions.

Inspection of the property

The property is let in the condition and with the equipment stated in the listing and as present when the agreement is signed. Before submitting an offer, the bidder is obliged to inspect the property to be let and the documents independently before making a binding offer. The tenant may not subsequently invoke a matter that could have been detected during a prior inspection. By submitting an offer, the bidder accepts the condition of the property as is.

Conclusion of the rental agreement

The security deposit must be paid in full and the rental agreement must be signed no later than one month after the decision notice addressed to the tenant has been sent, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All parties submitting offers will be notified of the tenant selected.
