Bid terms 

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. 

The winner of the competition must provide the landlord with a description of the activities to be carried out on the premises and obtain the landlord’s approval for it. 

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the tenancy agreement. 

Bidders agree that Huutokaupat.com may disclose their contact details to the advertiser to enable the rental decision and communication thereof. 

Bids 
The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request further information and clarifications from a bidder and the right to reject all bids. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selection. 

Bidding period   

The bidding period begins on 26.10.2026 and ends on 15.11.2026 at 13.00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids must be submitted via the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified time. The property may only be let to the person who submitted a bid recorded in the system. 

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest. 

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. 

Conditions for accepting a bid 

Acceptance of a bid and conclusion of a tenancy agreement require that the tenant has no payment default entries in their credit records and that neither the tenant, an entity owning the tenant nor an entity exercising control over the tenant is subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union or the UN. By submitting a bid, the tenant confirms that they meet the above conditions. 

Inspection of the property 

The property is let in the condition and with the equipment stated in the listing and present at the time of signing the agreement. Before submitting a bid, the bidder is obliged to inspect the property and documents personally before making a binding bid. The tenant may not subsequently invoke any matter that could have been detected during a prior inspection. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the condition of the property as is. 

Signing the tenancy agreement 

The deposit must be paid in full and the tenancy agreement must be signed no later than one month after the tenant has been sent the relevant decision notice addressed to them, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selection.
