TO LET: commercial premises 79.5 m², Kalasatama, Helsinki

Bid terms:

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

The competition winner must submit a description of the activities to be carried out on the premises and have it approved by the landlord.

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the letting.

Bidders agree that Huutokaupat.com may disclose their contact details to the advertiser to enable the letting decision and notification thereof.

Bids:

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request further information and clarifications from the bidder and the right to reject all bids. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selection.

Bidding period: 

The bidding period begins on 26 October 2026 and ends on 15 November 2026 at 13:00, or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids are to be placed on the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified time. The premises may only be let to a bidder whose bid is recorded in the system. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid accepted as the highest by the service provider’s system.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding.

Conditions for accepting a bid:

Acceptance of a bid and conclusion of the tenancy agreement require that the tenant has no payment-default entries in their credit record and that no sanctions imposed by the European Union or the UN apply to the tenant, the tenant’s owner or the entity exercising control over the tenant. By placing a bid, the tenant confirms that these conditions are met.

Inspection of the premises:

The premises are let in the condition and with the equipment stated in the listing and present when the agreement is signed. Before placing a bid, the bidder is required to inspect the premises and documents independently. The tenant may not subsequently invoke any matter that could have been detected during a prior inspection. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the premises as they are.

Conclusion of the tenancy agreement:

The security deposit must be paid in full, and the tenancy agreement must be signed no later than one month after the decision notice addressed to the tenant has been sent, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selection.
