Bid terms:

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

The winner of the competition must provide the landlord with a description of the activities to be carried out on the premises and obtain the landlord’s approval for it.

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the lease.

Bidders undertake to allow Huutokaupat.com to disclose their contact details to the advertiser to enable the rental decision and communication thereof.

Bids:

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request further information and clarifications from bidders and the right to reject all bids. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selected.

Bid period: 

The bidding period begins on 26 October 2026 and ends on 15 November 2026 at 13.00, or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids must be made via the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified time. The premises may only be rented to a bidder whose bid is recorded in the system. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding.

Conditions for accepting a bid:

Acceptance of a bid and conclusion of the lease require that the tenant has no payment default entries and that neither the tenant, an entity owning the tenant nor an entity exercising control over the tenant is subject to European Union or United Nations sanctions. By submitting a bid, the tenant confirms that these conditions are met.

Inspecting the premises:

The premises are rented in the condition and with the equipment stated in the listing and existing when the agreement is signed. Before submitting a bid, the bidder must independently inspect the premises and documents before making a binding bid. The tenant may not subsequently invoke a matter that could have been observed during a prior inspection. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the condition of the premises as is.

Concluding the lease:

The security deposit must be paid in full and the lease signed no later than one month after the decision notice addressed to the tenant has been sent, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selected.
