The properties are covered by the Ranua village local master plan, central functions area, and a detailed local plan. In the detailed plan, the area is designated AL, a block area for residential, commercial and office buildings. Floor area ratio e=0.30.

According to the extract from the cadastral register, the areas of the properties are Metsätalo 683-402-2-96: 0.0952 ha, and Lisämetsätalo 683-402-224-2: 0.0345 ha.

The buildings are in fair-to-poor condition. They are not in a condition suitable for their intended use.
