Bid terms 

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. 

The competition winner must provide the landlord with a description of the activities to be carried out on the premises and obtain the landlord’s approval. 

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the tenancy. 

Bidders agree that Huutokaupat.com may disclose their contact details to the advertiser to enable the rental decision and communication thereof. 

Bids 
The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request additional information and clarifications from the bidder and the right to reject all bids. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selected. 

Bidding period 

The bidding period starts on 26 October 2026 and ends on 15 November 2026 at 13:00 or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids must be submitted via the Huutokaupat.com service by the stated time. The premises may only be rented to a bidder whose bid is recorded in the system. 

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid accepted as the highest by the service provider’s system. 

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. 

Conditions for accepting a bid 

Acceptance of a bid and conclusion of the tenancy agreement require that the tenant has no payment default entries and that no sanctions imposed by the European Union or the UN apply to the tenant, the tenant’s owning entity or the entity exercising control over the tenant. By submitting a bid, the tenant certifies that these conditions are met. 

Inspection of the premises 

The premises are rented in the condition and with the equipment stated in the advertisement and existing when the agreement is signed. Before bidding, the bidder must inspect the premises and documents independently. The tenant may not subsequently invoke a circumstance that could have been detected during a prior inspection. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the condition of the premises as is. 

Conclusion of the tenancy agreement 

The deposit must be paid in full and the tenancy agreement must be signed no later than one month after the decision notice addressed to the tenant has been sent, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selected.
