The price of the wastewater connection is: 6 x the building’s floor area x €2.10. That is €1,512 excluding VAT. The wastewater connection manhole is brought to the plot boundary, and the interface is in the manhole. Bids made in the auction are binding. If a submitted bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in liability for damages.

If the person who made the highest binding bid makes an unjustified bid, they must pay a penalty fee of €1,000 to the seller within 3 days to cover the costs incurred.

The competent authority of the City of Alajärvi reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The final highest offered purchase price requires approval by the Alajärvi City Board and a separate sale decision.

The bid will be processed by the competent authority of the City of Alajärvi.

Completion of the sale

The buyer pays the purchase price, and it must be paid at the time of closing.

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax arising from this transaction.

The buyer obtains title to the property after the City of Alajärvi’s competent authority has made the sale decision, the deed has been signed and the purchase price has been paid.

NOTE!

The highest bidder must pay a reservation fee of €500.00 (five hundred euros) within 3 days after the auction ends to the account specified by the city. The reservation fee will be refunded when the full plot purchase price has been paid within the stated time limit. No interest is paid on the reservation fee.
