The interface is at the water main shut-off on the plot boundary; all water main excavation and piping on the plot beyond the shut-off are carried out by the builder at their own expense. Offers made in the auction are binding. If an offer made is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to liability for damages.

If the bidder who made the highest binding offer submits an unjustified offer, they must pay a penalty fee of €1,000 to the seller within 3 days for the costs incurred.

The competent authority of the City of Alajärvi reserves the right to accept or reject the highest offer. The final highest offered purchase price requires approval by the City of Alajärvi City Board and a separate sales decision.

Conclusion of the sale

The buyer pays the purchase price, and the purchase price must be paid at the closing meeting.

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax arising from this transaction.

The buyer obtains title to the property after the competent authority of the City of Alajärvi has made the sales decision, the deed has been signed and the purchase price has been paid.

NOTE!

The highest bidder must pay a reservation fee of €500.00 (five hundred euros) within 3 days after the end of the auction to the account specified by the city. The reservation fee will be refunded when the full purchase price of the plot has been paid within the stated time limit. No interest is paid on the reservation fee.
