Frezzer Solar 100 L 12/24V fridge-freezer combination

Frezzer Solar 100 l is a free-standing fridge-freezer combination designed especially for cottages, operating with a compressor. The 85 l fridge and small 15 l freezer section for ice cream or ice packs makes it possible to manage everyday life even far from home.

It is suitable for cottage use in 12/24 V solar power systems and uses less power compared with a standard fridge and inverter combination. The cooling is based on traditional compressor technology, the same as in appliances used at home, but the electronics are designed for the DC voltage required by battery use. The DC motor is therefore more energy efficient, and the control unit and thermostat with soft-start current help ensure a longer service life for your batteries. Even if the battery can supply a high current for a moment, power spikes drain it every time the fridge starts cooling, which happens many times a day.

The motor is also quieter than normal, allowing you to enjoy nature with less compressor hum. It has windings made of pure copper, whereas cheaper models may use aluminium, which wears less well.

The model is designed for the European market, but its base has been tested in tropical conditions, where especially low power consumption and good insulation are important. This is also useful when summer weather in Finland brings more heatwaves and food needs to stay cold.
