The object is sold in an online auction with bidding on the website www.huutokaupat.com during the period 17 July–10 August 2026. Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for submitting bids ends on 10 August 2026 at 18:00 (or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid).

The Enforcement Authority does not guarantee the functioning of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid the service provider’s system has recorded as highest. The enforcement officer decides whether to accept or reject the highest bid. Bids made in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment time. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability for compensation under Chapter 5, section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or to extend the sale period.

The property has been seized and is sold privately by the enforcement officer in accordance with Chapter 5, section 76 of the Enforcement Code and, where applicable, the Enforcement Code’s general auction terms.

Payment terms

The enforcement officer will inform the highest bidder whether the bid can be accepted. If the bid can be accepted, the buyer must pay the full purchase price by bank transfer to the Enforcement Authority’s official account. Payment by credit card is not accepted.

Deposit: If the full purchase price is not paid immediately, the buyer must pay a deposit of 20% of the purchase price immediately.

Payment period: If necessary, a payment period of up to six weeks from the sales decision may be granted for the remainder of the purchase price. Interest at the annual reference rate will be charged on the whole purchase price for the entire payment period from the date of sale until the end of the payment period. The reference rate is currently 2.50%. If payment is not made within the granted payment period, annual default interest currently at 9.50% will be charged thereafter.

Buyer’s liabilities

On transfer of ownership, the buyer must pay transfer tax of three per cent (self-assessed) before applying for title registration and no later than six months after the conclusion of the purchase contract. The buyer is responsible for the costs of title registration and the transfer tax.

The state has a right of pre-emption in the purchase of the property if the acquisition is necessary for national defence, border control or border security or for monitoring or securing territorial integrity (Act on the State’s Right of Pre-emption in Certain Areas 29 March 2019/469).

Foreign persons defined by law may acquire property in the territory of the State of Finland only if a permit is granted (Act on the State’s Right of Pre-emption in Certain Areas 29 March 2019/470).

If it is not possible to place bids via the Huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written bid to the enforcement officer. The bid will be entered into the online auction as a maximum bid in the automatic bidding system. The bid must be submitted in writing to the Enforcement Authority no later than 7 August 2026 at 12:00 to the address: Enforcement Authority / Kuusamo office, Kaiterantie 20, 93600 Kuusamo. A written bid is binding and is subject to the same terms as the online auction. The written bid must be signed and must include the bidder’s contact details, the maximum bid amount and the number of the object in the Huutokaupat.com service to which the bid relates.
