Offers must be submitted by the stated deadline. The highest offer is the one the seller has accepted as highest. It is also possible to participate in the auction in person on site by submitting an offer to the seller. The seller and buyer undertake to record all offers in the system. By making a bid, the bidder accepts these terms of sale.

Inspection of the property

Before making an offer, the bidder is obliged to inspect the property, documents and records. The buyer cannot later refer to any matter that could have been observed during the pre-inspection.

Information provided by the seller

The seller warrants that they have given the buyer all information known to the seller that could reasonably be expected to affect the transaction.

Concluding the sale

The sale of the property must be made in the form prescribed by the Land Code. The date and place for signing the deed will be agreed separately with the buyer. The purchase price is paid at the completion of the sale. The notary's fee is shared equally by the seller and the buyer.

The final sale is confirmed by the Taipalsaari municipal council.

Other costs

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax in accordance with current tax practice.

Withdrawal from the sale

A party that refuses to conclude the sale must, under the Land Code, reimburse the other party for reasonable costs incurred for advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary actions related to the sale.
