Enforced sale of detached house in Mattilanpelto, Jyväskylä

The property will be sold by ascending bids in an online auction held on the www.huutokaupat.com website from 16 September to 7 October 2026. Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for submitting bids ends at 18:00, or two

minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the functioning of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest. The enforcement officer decides separately whether to accept or reject the highest bid.

If it is not possible to submit purchase bids through the Huutokaupat.com service, the prospective buyer may submit a written purchase offer to the enforcement authority, which will be included in the online auction as the maximum bid in accordance with the bid increment automation. The written

offer must be signed and must state the offeror’s contact details, the maximum amount of the offer, and the item number on Huutokaupat.com to which the offer relates. The written purchase offer is binding and the same terms apply to it as in

the online auction. The offer must be submitted no later than 5 October 2026 at 18:00 to the Jyväskylä office of the Enforcement Authority, address Vapaudenkatu 54, 40100 Jyväskylä, or by email to jyvaskyla.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

Buyer’s liability for compensation

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the stated payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability for compensation under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

Payment terms

The buyer must immediately pay 20 per cent of the purchase price as a deposit into the Enforcement Authority’s official funds account. The deposit cannot be paid by credit card. The Enforcement Authority will contact the bidder whose highest bid has been accepted. The bidder with the highest accepted bid must state on whose behalf the bid was made. Otherwise, the bidder with the highest bid is considered the buyer.

If necessary, a payment period of up to six weeks may be granted for the final purchase price. The payment period must be stated separately. If a payment period is used, annual interest on the entire purchase price must be paid in accordance with Section 3, subsection 2 of the Interest Act for the whole agreed payment period from the date of sale until the end of the payment period.

If no payment period is used, the purchase price must be paid without delay after acceptance of the bid.

If payment is not made within the specified time, the buyer must pay default interest on the entire purchase price in accordance with Section 4, subsection 1 of the Interest Act until the purchase price has been paid or a new sale has been conducted.

Buyers are advised to familiarise themselves carefully with the property, the sales brochure and the attached documents before submitting a bid.
