For rent is the handy Särkkäpirtti wilderness cabin located north of Kuhmo, with a small kitchenette and loft. A sauna is also in the same building.

The property is leased by separate agreement on a 5–10 year lease term against an annual rent, and the rent is tied to the cost of living index.
In the auction, you are bidding on the amount of one year's rent (euros/year)

If the tenant is a company using the property for VAT-liable business, a commercial premises lease will be drawn up and 25.5% VAT will be added to the rent.
In addition, for commercial premises leases we require a rent security deposit amounting to 1.5 x the annual rent including VAT.
We accept as security a guarantee issued by a bank or surety institution.

The cabin is rented with the equipment and furnishings that are in it at the time the lease is signed.

The property is leased in its condition at the time of letting, and under the terms of the lease the tenant's obligations include the full maintenance and upkeep of the buildings, including minor repairs, etc. As lessor, Metsähallitus will therefore not participate in the aforementioned upkeep costs during the lease period. Any larger repairs of a basic renovation nature will be decided separately by Metsähallitus on a case-by-case basis. Metsähallitus pays the property tax and building fire insurance.

In summer, access by car to the yard; in winter, about 6 km from the ploughed road.

The agreement will not include any special rights or benefits, such as fishing or hunting permits.
