Approximately 2.5 km from the centre on a 2,800 m² trackside plot: a pleasant approx. 35 m² cottage, two outbuildings, a separate sauna and a root cellar, plus a well.

The cottage has an entrance hall, kitchen and bedroom. Upstairs there is an open loft which is dry and could be turned into a summer room. A new tongue-and-groove plank floor was installed in the main building's kitchen in 2026 (dry wood shavings were also added) and the walls and cupboards were painted. A façade renovation and overall painting were carried out in 2026. The living room has a wood-burning stove, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom has a small stove. The hallway floor was also painted in 2026. The outbuilding contains storage, a woodshed and a workshop. The yard also includes a functioning root cellar and an idyllic sauna. The outbuilding and the sauna were painted in 2026. The sauna has a felt roof; the other buildings have metal roofs. The other outbuilding, closer to the railway, is in poor condition but salvageable; it has an outhouse and the building is electrified. There is also a greenhouse on the plot. The house only has carried water (no piped water), so there are no known freezing or water-damage issues.

Iittala centre offers basic services and a railway station. The beach is a few kilometres away. The property is also accessible by bus.
