Water and sewage connections:

In Hautasenkydössä the water supplier is the Alajärvi Water Cooperative.

The sewage network connection fee is based on area. For example, the sewage connection fee for a 120 m² detached house is: 6 x building floor area x €2.10 = €1,512 excl. VAT. The wastewater connection chamber is located at the plot boundary; the interface is in the connection chamber. Everything beyond that on the plot – excavations and piping for sewer connections – is carried out by the builder at their own cost.

Bids made in the auction are binding. If a submitted bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to liability for compensation.

If the highest binding bidder has made an unfounded bid, they must pay the seller a penalty of €1,000 within 3 days to cover incurred costs.

The bidder has examined the draft deed attached to the announcement and the obligations and conditions it contains. By bidding, the buyer confirms they have reviewed the draft deed and undertakes to comply with its terms and obligations.

In accordance with the Alajärvi City Council decision of 31 March 2025, section 15, the plot will be sold to the highest bidder. The deed of sale will be approved by the Mayor by an official decision.

Conclusion of sale

The buyer pays the purchase price.

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax arising from this purchase.

The buyer will acquire ownership of the property after the competent authority of the City of Alajärvi has made the sales decision, the deed has been signed and the purchase price has been paid.

NOTE!

The highest bidder must pay a reservation fee of €500.00 (five hundred euros) within 3 days of the auction’s end to an account designated by the city. The reservation fee will be returned once the full purchase price of the plot has been paid within the given deadline. No interest will be paid on the reservation fee.
