The City of Oulu offers a bungee jumping site for rent for the period

1 June 2026 – 31 December 2028 as follows

Offers for the rental
Binding offers are submitted through a tender procedure held on the Huutokaupat.com website, participation requires registering with the system. Offers (bids) must be placed in the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified deadline. The amount offered is the annual rent excluding VAT.

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject offers. Offers are binding and the successful bidder is obliged to enter into the lease and to pay the offered price and the deposit according to the lease.

Terms of the lease
A lease will be signed with the winning bidder for 1 June 2026 – 31 December 2028.

The lease only allows placing a bungee jumping site on the land area. The agreement permits ten event days per year. Rent is payable annually on 1 June. The tenant is responsible for any additional costs. A draft lease is attached to this notice.

Bungee jumping activity is not possible during the two regular market square events if the event uses Autoranta or Kaarlenväylä as the event area.

Other conditions
1) The City of Oulu is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider's system. The highest bid is the one the service provider's system recognises as highest.

2) Bids are binding. If the city accepts a bid but the bidder refuses to sign the lease, the city reserves the right to charge a penalty of €500 (VAT 0%).

The site is rented as is and with the equipment present at the time of the notice. Participants must inspect the site themselves before making a binding offer. By placing an offer, the bidder accepts the condition of the site as is.
