The property is seized and will be sold by private sale arranged by the enforcement officer in accordance with section 76 of Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code and the general auction terms laid down in the Code. The enforcement officer may accept or reject the highest bid. Further details are provided in the sales prospectus.

Bids relate to the purchase price to be paid to the Enforcement Authority. The sales prospectus lists obligations and rights transferred to the buyer and information on any loan shares, unpaid service charges or other liabilities that the buyer will be responsible for or must pay to obtain possession of the property.

Bids are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder must pay the offered purchase price. Failure to pay the offered price may lead to the buyer’s liability for compensation under section 25 of Chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code.
