Former Kiikois health centre for sale

A property that has operated as a health centre is for sale in Kiikois, Sastamala, close to Lake Kiikoisjärvi. The building plot is a c. 2,800 m² parcel from the property Kankainen 790-575-1-159 at Kiikostentie 320. There is no private shoreline, but the shoreline by the property is for shared use and includes e.g. boat spaces.

The building consists of two parts built in different eras; the older part was built in 1952 and the extension in 1984. The old part has spaces on three levels: basement, office level and residential level. There is also a cold attic. The residential level has two apartments. The extension has one above-ground floor, which has been used as a health centre. The gross floor area of the old part is approx. 325 m² and the extension approx. 445 m². The building has oil-fired central heating with water circulation. The boiler room and the shared sauna and wash facilities are in the basement of the old part. The oil tank is buried in the ground outside the building. The building is currently vacant except for one office room; that office tenancy transfers to the new owner on sale.

The building has a concrete ground-bearing base, load-bearing basement walls in concrete, and concrete intermediate floors; the external walls of the extension are brick–insulation–brick. The external walls of the old part are also brick but the insulation is uncertain. The upper structures of the extension are mainly timber and in the old part mainly concrete. The roof-bearing structures are timber.

Partial renovation was carried out to the old part in the late 1980s, when MEP systems were renewed, layout changes made and structural repairs carried out. Renewed elements include windows and external doors, surface finishes and exterior cladding. The roof covering has been replaced with a tile roof similar to the extension. In the extension some floor coverings and sanitary fittings have been renewed since completion.
