Terms of sale

The municipality reserves the right to accept or reject the highest offer received. The decision-making body is the Savitaipale municipal board, which will consider the highest offer at its meeting on 17 August 2026 and, once the purchase price has been approved, the sale may be concluded after the decision has become legally valid (VK38 or later).

Viewing the property

Bidders are obliged to inspect the property, documents and records before submitting an offer. The buyer may not subsequently rely on any matter that could have been observed during a prior inspection.

  Seller’s statements
  
  The seller warrants that they have provided the buyer with all information known to the seller that could reasonably be expected to affect the transaction.
  
  Conclusion of sale
  
  The sale of the property must be made in the form required by the Land Code. The time and place for signing the deed of sale will be agreed separately with the buyer (from VK38 onwards). Payment of the purchase price will take place at the signing. The notary’s fee will be paid half by the seller and half by the buyer.
  
  Other costs
  
  The buyer is responsible for any transfer tax in accordance with the tax rules in force at the time.
  
  Withdrawal from the sale
  
  A party that refuses to conclude the sale must compensate the other party, under the Land Code, for reasonable costs incurred for advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary actions related to concluding the sale.
