Bids are made for the purchase price to be paid to the Enforcement Authority. The sales prospectus sets out the obligations and rights that transfer to the buyer, including any loan shares, unpaid service charges or other claims that the buyer will be liable for or must pay to obtain possession of the dwelling.

Bids are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability to compensate under section 25 of chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code.
