Border Guard sells Buster RS + Yamaha 50 hp 4-stroke, Inari

The Finnish Border Guard is selling a decommissioned, damaged Buster RS + Yamaha 50 hp 4-stroke boat package.

The boat has the following damage:

The hull has split at the bow and stern at the keel due to running onto rocks.

The drain plug hole has "ripped" and does not hold water; a makeshift quick-plug has been made.

The transom has failed at the welds on both sides and requires the entire transom to be replaced (the plywood inside has been waterlogged and the transom is flexible and cannot support the engine's weight).

Rivets have been sealed with sealant but, based on the marks, they still leak.

The floor plywood is rotten.

The outboard has been run onto rocks.

When the outboard is turned the lower unit and the cylinder make noise; the engine stalled while underway and has not started since.

The outboard has no compression in three cylinders and leaks oil between the crankcase halves; the oil has been drained from the engine (it has stood dry for over a year).

The outboard's lower unit is split.

The outboard's running hours are unknown.

The boat and outboard are sold as they are and with the equipment present at the time of sale.

Confirmation of the sale requires a sales contract between the buyer and the Border Guard.

The boat and outboard can be inspected once before the auction ends.
