The City of Kitee is finally auctioning the long-awaited summer cottage plots!

Building rights: The combined gross floor area of buildings may be at most 10% of the plot area, but no more than 250 m².

Each plot may have no more than one holiday dwelling and outbuildings.

The site is located in Kitee at Kortelahti on Lake Orivesi, about 35 kilometres from Kitee town centre.

A large marina and yacht club are nearby.

The starting price for the plot is €20,000 and it will be sold to the highest bidder.

NOTE! Subdivision costs of €1,200 will be added to the winning bid!

The buyer pays title registration fees and the official certification fee for the sale.

Construction must commence within two (2) years of signing the deed, in accordance with the town plan, building regulations and approved drawings.

If the building obligation is not fulfilled, the sale will be cancelled and the costs of cancellation shall be borne by the buyer.

A party that refuses to complete the sale must, under the Land Code, reimburse the other party for reasonable costs incurred for advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary actions related to the sale, amounting to €1,000.
