Product description

Heating and ventilation systems cause a problem during the cold season that is regularly underestimated in offices, authorities and public institutions: they significantly dry indoor air. In poorly humidified offices relative humidity often drops to 20–30 percent in winter — well below the recommended 40–60 percent for health. Dry mucous membranes, increased risk of infection, reduced concentration and higher absenteeism are the consequences. The Trotec B 400 evaporative humidifier solves this problem even in rooms up to 360 m² or 900 m³.

The key is the mode of use: with just 53 W power the B 400 is designed for continuous operation without significant running costs. The integrated hygrostat control regulates operation fully automatically — the unit humidifies the room to the set target and then switches itself off. This ensures humidity is neither too low nor too high, without anyone needing to adjust settings manually.

For commercial continuous use the B 400 offers an optional fixed water connection: if the unit is connected to the mains, the 29 L water tank does not require manual filling. The unit runs until someone switches it off — no staff costs, no interruptions. The rotating evaporation vane not only humidifies the air, but also cleans it, thereby improving air quality.
