- The buyer does not have the right to transfer the plot undeveloped to a third party without the town’s written approval.

- The buyer is responsible for partitioning and title deed costs.

- The town of Kristinestad will cover the costs of preparing the deed of sale and the fee of the sale witness.

The selection is based on the highest price offer. However, the town reserves the right to accept or reject offers. Conditional offers will not be accepted.

Kristinestad reserves the right to terminate the sale or extend the sales period.

The purchase price is paid at the time of purchase. Ownership transfers to the buyer when the deed is signed and the purchase price has been paid.

The sale requires a final decision by the Technical Committee or the City Council.

The bidder consents to the transfer of their contact details to the town for handling and decision‑making.

NOTE! A reservation payment of €5,000.00 (five thousand euros) must be paid within 3 days of the end of the auction to the account specified by the town. The reservation payment is non‑refundable unless the sale is cancelled for a reason communicated by the seller. No interest is paid on the reservation payment.

Processing of offers

Bids made in the auction are binding. Failure to pay the offered purchase price and/or reservation payment within the specified time may lead to liability for compensation.

If the highest binding bidder has made an unjustified bid, they must pay a penalty of €1,000.00 to the seller within 3 days to cover incurred costs.
