Lease agreement

Lease agreements will be entered into with the winning bidders for the period 1 May 2026 - 31 December 2029 with three months' notice. The lease agreement is attached to this notice.

The tenant must arrange waste management and the necessary wastewater, electricity and water connections for the rental area at their own expense.   

Offers

Binding offers are submitted in the auction procedure held on Huutokaupat.com. Participation requires logging into the system. 

The auction concerns the kiosk pitch's monthly rent. The auction winner undertakes to pay the offered rent for every month of the year and to provide a security equivalent to three months' rent.

The auction is won by the highest bidder who has also demonstrated sufficient financial and other capacity to meet the obligations under the lease.

Other auction conditions

Bids (offers) must be placed in the Huutokaupat.com service by the stated deadline. It is also possible to participate in the auction by submitting a written binding offer to the City of Helsinki by 22 March 2026 at 16:00. Submission of a written offer must be agreed in advance (via the "Send message" enquiry button) no later than 18 March 2026. All offers will be registered as public on the object's notice. A written purchase offer is binding and the same conditions apply as in the online auction. The written purchase offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum bid amount and the Huutokaupat.com service item number to which the offer relates.

The City of Helsinki is not responsible for the service provider's system. The highest bid is the one the service provider's system has accepted as highest.

The City of Helsinki reserves the right to stop the sale or to extend the sale period. 

Offers are binding and the successful bidder is obliged to enter into the lease and to pay the offered price and the security in accordance with the lease. 

Bidders agree to the disclosure of contact details to the City of Helsinki for decision‑making purposes.

The City decides on entering into the lease in accordance with the City of Helsinki's administrative regulations. By participating in the electronic auction the bidder consents to electronic notification of the decision. Electronic notification will be sent to the email address provided in the service provider's system.

Withdrawal from a bid

If a bidder withdraws from an accepted bid, they must compensate the City of Helsinki for costs incurred in organising the failed auction.

The City of Helsinki will contact the winning bidders after the auction ends.
