Water and sewer connections:

On Puromyllyntie the water supplier is the water cooperative.

The price of a wastewater network connection is also based on area. For example, for a 120 m² detached house the wastewater connection price is: 6 × building floor area × €2.10. That is €1,512 VAT 0%. The wastewater connection well is located on the plot boundary; the interface point is in the connection well. All excavation and pipework on the plot side from there will be carried out by the builder at their own cost.

Conditional offers are not accepted.

Offers made in the auction are binding. If an offer is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in liability for compensation.

If the highest binding bidder makes an unfounded bid, they must pay the seller a penalty fee of €1,000 within 3 days for costs incurred.

The competent authority of the City of Alajärvi reserves the right to accept or reject the highest offer. The final highest offered purchase price requires approval by the Alajärvi City Board and a separate sales decision.

Conclusion of sale

The buyer pays the purchase price, and the purchase price must be paid at the signing of the contract.

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax arising from this purchase.

The buyer will receive ownership of the property after the City of Alajärvi’s competent authority has made the sales decision, the deed has been signed and the purchase price has been paid.

NOTE!

The highest bidder must pay a reservation fee of €500 (five hundred) within 3 days of the auction’s end to an account designated by the city. The reservation fee will be refunded when the full purchase price for the plot has been paid within the given deadline. No interest is paid on the reservation fee.
