Withdrawal from the sale
If the buyer withdraws from the sale, the deposit will not be refunded. In addition, the party refusing to complete the sale must, under the Land Code, compensate the other party for reasonable costs incurred for advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary actions related to completing the sale.
