On 1 December 2025 (section 453) the Lohja City Board decided to sell the Nummenkylä school property, including movable items, by public auction. The sale includes both the main school building and an adjoining daycare building completed in 2003. The property is located at Nummenkyläntie 113, 08680 Lohja (property identifier 444-433-1-197).
The school building has a gross floor area of 1,368 m² and was completed in 1958. Significant alterations were made in 1996, including construction of a sports hall, technical workshop spaces and auxiliary rooms, and expansion of the ventilation plant room into the attic.
In 2003 a modular, prefabricated daycare unit was constructed and connected to the school building. The modular unit can be relocated if required.
The property is zoned within the Lohja urban master plan as a PY – local public services area. There is no residential building on the property and no independent building rights. If a buyer plans a change of use or new building project, a deviation permit must be obtained before a building permit can be granted.
The site is large and includes an established sports yard. The property has its own yard well and it is possible to install ground-source heating boreholes. Chimneys and oil boilers have been swept, and the oil tank has been inspected/coated. The property has been maintained regularly.
The right to use the land area of the Rosk’n Roll recycling point located on the property will transfer to the buyer in connection with the sale. The use right is valid until 31 December 2029 and is provided without charge.
The property is sold as a whole including movable items, so that low-value movable items in the buildings transfer to the buyer without separate compensation. The seller is not responsible for the condition or usability of the movable items.
