OTHER: The property on sale was designed by architects Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and completed in 1981. The building comprises a storage wing that is partly three storeys. The premises, consisting of 26 storage halls, have been used for the conservation and storage of objects for various museum exhibitions. Each floor has a central corridor surrounded by storage halls of different sizes. Office, research, conservation and dispatch facilities are situated in their own two-storey wing at the north end of the storage. The heating plant and technical rooms are located in connection with this wing. The basement contains two archive rooms. The storage areas on the 1st and 2nd floors are climate-controlled (temperature and relative humidity can be adjusted).

The plot also includes a carport and a 172 brm² storage/work building built in 1981, which has served as a disinfection centre. The building has separate rooms for heating and freezing objects.

Maintenance costs for the property and the buildings located on it were approximately €300,000 in 2024 and approximately €218,000 in 2025.

The buyer will assume the obligation to comply with the agreements between the central storage and the Archive Foundation. All three agreements are available as attachments.
