Reliable and economical Golf with one of VW’s most highly regarded engines: the 1.9 TDI PowerDiesel (130 hp). The engine is known for its durability, pulling power and low fuel consumption, and this car is a good example.

The car drives well and has been well maintained. The engine runs smoothly, the gearbox works and the car is comfortable to drive both in town and on the open road.

There is age-related rust on the bodywork, visible in the pictures.

An excellent choice for an affordable everyday or commuting car that runs for a long time at low cost. A mechanically sound Golf at a sensible price.

Key equipment and condition details:

Test drive: Everything works as it should

Mechanics: In good working order; runs normally at idle and when driving

Tyres: OK

Interior: Worn

Bodywork: Dents, scratches and rust

Servicing: Good service history
