• Dipped-beam bulb has blown

• Boot-handle microswitch is faulty; opens only using the key button

• Driver's seat trim piece is cracked; this does not affect operation of the electric seat

• A slight, quiet knocking from the front of the suspension. The drop links will probably need replacing.

The body panels are straight and there is no visible surface rust. Even the underside of the car looks respectable at a quick glance. Some small stone chips and signs of wear here and there.

The windscreen is intact!

There is nothing particularly embarrassing in the inspection history either. The next inspection is unlikely to cause problems!
