Additional information

Mercedes-Benz SL Cabriolet – A classic for an enthusiast / project

For sale: a 1973 Mercedes-Benz SL convertible. A stylish classic with the timeless appeal of an old Mercedes-Benz and potential as a future enthusiast’s car.

Last inspected in 2012. The car may possibly be a replacement-body vehicle, something enthusiasts used to do in the past.

A good project for a classic-car enthusiast who wants to restore and customise the car. It has some running issues: it idles but stalls when revved, so it requires investigation and work. A good basis for an enthusiast who sees the potential in an old Mercedes.
