The car is sold as needing repair, but it feels good and stable to drive. However, when stationary, especially with the bonnet open, there is an extra noise from the engine. This has not been investigated further. It was driven to the yard and can still be driven at least at the moment.

The car has a long and documented service history. There are receipts for even larger jobs, including a major engine repair done in 2023 at around 231,000 km: the piston rings and con rod bearings were replaced, the cylinder head was refurbished and skimmed, and among other things the oil filter and front oxygen sensor were changed. The work was carried out professionally by Valkeakosken Autohuolto, and the full history can be verified with receipts – so the car’s past is no mystery.

The equipment level is also in good order.

The car has an automatic transmission, folding electric mirrors and four electric windows, so everyday tasks are handled with ease. The front seats are heated, the steering wheel is leather-trimmed and multifunctional, and rear parking sensors make parking easier. It also comes with a tow bar, engine block heater with interior socket, and two sets of tyres with alloy wheels – both summer and winter tyres are ready to go. Safety is taken care of by stability and traction control systems (DSC and TCS), and longer journeys are made more comfortable by cruise control, an adjustable speed limiter, automatic climate control, and a trip computer with outside temperature gauge.

All in all, this is a car where the basics have been kept in good condition and the bigger repairs have been done properly – now only the engine noise is waiting for someone to tackle it. A good opportunity for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. It was driven to the yard and can at least be driven now despite the noise, and there is no engine warning light either.
