A rare piece of history!

A museum-registered time capsule, preserved in original condition.

The car stood on axle stands in a protected garage from 2001 to 2023, and then in another garage until 2026.

Just four owners, with the complete history well documented. The first owned the car from new until 1988, and the second from 1988 to 2023. I kept the car in garage storage from 2023 to 2026.

The current owners bought the car from me in early summer 2026, intending to make it the ultimate summer car. Among other work, they had the engine bearings, tyres and seals replaced. The car was also extensively serviced elsewhere.

During the summer, each owner drove the car only once. This led to the decision that the car should go to someone with time to actually drive and enjoy it.

The car has now returned to me to be cleaned up, registered as a museum vehicle and sold on behalf of the owners. I handled the museum inspection and the inspection for registration as a museum vehicle. The entire process is documented on the Wikes & Jokes YouTube channel. It also includes an interview with the long-term owner!

The car has not been restored, repainted or modified. Its appearance and atmosphere remain just as they were when it was put into storage. The protection and care provided by Finnkori and the long-term owner are evident: the body is incredibly good, with very little rust.

The car comes with the aluminium wheels shown below, fitted with Michelin studded tyres, the original metric-size wheels with summer tyres, and the original steel wheels without tyres. The summer and winter tyres are intact but very old.

There are, of course, a few things to note. After all, the car is over 40 years old!

The driver’s seat fabric has deteriorated and was further damaged during cleaning after the museum inspection. The speedometer and fuel gauge do not work. Otherwise, let the pictures speak for the condition.

Cars can be rebuilt, but this level of originality cannot be brought back.
