Now up for auction is a true classic, the Dodge Charger, guaranteed to turn heads and make your socks roll up and down your legs as you cruise towards the sunset!

The car is equipped with the SE package.

Imported as a used vehicle from the United States in 2016.

The next MOT is not due until 4 August 2028.

Here are the detailed specifications provided to us by the car’s previous meticulous owner ->

Engine: 496 stroker (8.1L), Indy heads, Comp camshaft, headers, Melling high-volume pump, Milodon ‘sump’ with external intake, MSD 6AL, ARP bolts, 1.6:1 rockers; engine rebuilt approximately 15,000 km ago.

Gearbox: 727 with shift kit, Promatic 2 shifter, B&M Holeshot 3,000 rpm torque converter.

Disc brakes at the front, original drums at the rear; both overhauled approximately 10,000 km ago.

Rear axle: 8 3/4 with limited-slip differential.

Propshaft universal joints and torsion bars replaced, as were all front- and rear-end bushes and joints.

Stainless-steel exhaust system, aluminium radiator with electric fan, paintwork in tidy condition.

Convo Pro 2.0 wheels used during the summer, with fairly new tyres fitted.

With the modifications listed above, the car certainly has a wonderful American rumble and moves this beauty along the road very nicely.

The interior shows wear on the leather, carpets and seat backs, but considering its age, the overall appearance is quite tidy.

The exterior, meanwhile, has remained in very tidy condition, as the photos show. There is naturally some wear and minor marks, but overall this is a striking and well-preserved example!

There are a few drawbacks, as is to be expected with an older car -> the instrument panel does not work at all, the door locks do not work from the outside, and the right-hand rocker-cover gasket is sweating slightly. Otherwise, the Charger is functional, and these should certainly be small jobs for an enthusiast to tackle.

As the instrument panel is not working, the actual mileage is estimated at approximately 38,000 km; the selling dealership cannot provide a full guarantee of this.
