The complete delivery includes a stylish plastic lid resistant to snow load with lifting handle, a large approx. 35 kW marine aluminium stove, a drain tap and outlet pipe. The tub is insulated. The base has a 45 cm Styrofoam fill, so frost will not be a problem for the bather here. The outer cladding is Finnish heat-treated pine (Lunawood). The pool package is 100% Finnish quality workmanship.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's Classic Hot Tub bath tub is made in Finland down to the smallest particle. We are very proud of the products from our line, and we have been making this Classic Hot Tub model for years using the same proven formula. The side panels of the bath tub arrive at the factory as long stock material. They are sawn to the correct length and assembled into an element, into which the previously glued insulation base from Jackon in Sastamala and the maintenance-free PE plastic pool moulded by Pipelife in Oulu are fitted. The exact bath tub specialists on the line drill the drain hole in the base, the stove holes in the side and fit the hoses in place. Finally, the package is gently tipped onto its side once more for the installation of the drain pipe.

The Classic Hot Tub bath tub is delivered freight-free to its new happy owner, who only needs a water hose, firewood and fire-starting equipment. However, the owner of the new tub must ensure that the bath tub is installed straight so that the water does not settle unevenly in the tub. Installation instructions come with the package, but in practice the new owner only needs to fasten the stove, placed on a level surface, to the bath tub with hose clamps, screw the stove drain valve shut and off you go, into the bath.

Improved seating comfort in the rotationally moulded pool - also for taller bathers

The maintenance-free, moulded PE plastic pool comes to us almost from next door, from Pipelife in Oulu. In their factory, the rotationally moulded pool is created from plastic granulate as the result of a precise process. The plastic granulate is placed in a mould and the mould rotates in an oven for an hour. After cooling, the pool is ready to be moved to Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's production line.

We have paid special attention to seating comfort in the design of the pool. The sides of the pool are not vertical, as a wedge-shaped insulating air gap has been left between the pool and the edge paneling, which supports the bather's back more gently. The edges of our pools are on average higher than those of other manufacturers, so even taller bathers will have their shoulders below the surface of the steaming hot bath water and their necks will not start to freeze. Seating comfort is top class and your legs will not be cramped in this bath tub, because despite the height the bench is not too low.

Super-efficient marine aluminium stove

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's bath tub package are made in Finland. The powerful 35 kW stove is not even afraid of seawater, as both fresh and salt water are suitable for it. Carefully considered details in the materials make the stove a red-hot top product. Marine aluminium conducts heat excellently, the front plate of the stove is stainless steel, and the glass door allows you to check the fire without opening the door. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a chimney protective grille or a spark guard, take a look at the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine starts to oxidise the marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see the accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water for about one day, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it does not contain any added chemicals and is also safer for children. Water without oxidation starts to form a slimy surface on the edges of the bath tub, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Easy maintenance with little effort

In the Classic Hot Tub, your backside will not freeze even when the ground is frozen. The 45 cm insulated Styrofoam base prevents cold from reaching the bottom of the pool and at the same time keeps the water warmer. The delivery includes a plastic lid that significantly reduces heat loss. A well-heated bath tub can be warmed up again the next morning with one load of firewood.

There is also plenty of warmth in the heat-treated pine panel from Lunawood, which crowns the bath tub's appearance as the pool's edge material. The pine panel requires no maintenance if you do not want it to. Over the years, the surface will then weather to a beautiful grey. If, however, you want to preserve the brown tone, apply wood oil to the surface annually. The maintenance-free feature also applies to the plastic pool, since there are no cast seams in the plastic pool for dirt to collect in special places. However, remember to keep the pool surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with normal detergents. The most meticulous users can occasionally clean the pool more aggressively, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to ensure proper handling of wastewater.
