At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, we decided to combine these two favourite pastimes, and that gave birth to the Arctic Grill Hut with Sauna. This model makes two dreams come true at once. From the gentle steam of the wood-burning sauna stove, you can conveniently step out for a moment to grill, and when you feel like it, you can continue enjoying the steam seamlessly. This magical combination of grilling and sauna could go on for hours! And although this is starting to sound like a TV-shop advert, that’s not all. The hut is equipped with stunning roof windows, from which you can enjoy the northern starry sky at night. Thanks to the windows, daylight falls gently into the hut and you won’t have to squint in the dim hut in the middle of the day. Best of all, it does not require electricity. This is powered by firewood.

The best moments of winter and summer

A private yard sauna is a dream for many Finns. Sausages wrapped in foil on the stones of the stove are always damp and do not cook properly. It is very convenient if the sauna door opens to a fully equipped grill hut. You can also think of it the other way around. What if you start craving a sauna while grilling? Well, just throw some wood into the firebox and in half an hour you’ll already be enjoying lovely steam. In winter, the grill hut’s firebox heats the hut section used as a changing room, and in summer it is nice to cool off on the hut side if the Finnish summer does not show its best side and rain is coming down. In any weather, however, it is pleasant to grill and sauna in the Arctic Grill Hut with Sauna, whether it is summer or winter.

Wide open nature – in the roof window

Garden cabins often use acrylic windows and light roofing sheets that scratch easily. Here at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we are not keen on such materials; we want to offer the best. The hut and sauna windows are double-glazed and the roof windows are made of 8 mm toughened glass, so they are also easy to keep clean. Through the windows you can watch a live broadcast of nature around the clock. At night you can admire the stars, and by day you can watch birds gliding past or garden trees swaying in the wind. The amount of light in the hut increases dramatically!

Compact use of space

The Arctic Grill Hut with Sauna is just the right size, with room for up to 12 people in the grill hut area and 4 people on the sauna benches. The grill hut side comes with ready-made worktops for six, and the sauna can fit more people too, if everyone gets along. The sauna’s sloping roof rises in suitable proportion to the benches, and even a taller sauna-goer can sit comfortably without their head hitting the ceiling. If you are a somewhat larger sauna-goer, you can install the benches a few centimetres lower. The highest point of the grill hut is over 3 metres. So you do not need to crouch while grilling. If desired, the smoke hood can be lowered to ensure that all smoke is definitely directed outside.

Round or straight

We manufacture the Arctic Grill Hut with Sauna from magnificent Finnish 45 mm thick logs. Because we want your grill hut sauna to suit your taste, you can choose either round log (+€500) or straight planed log. For the sauna, we have chosen a Harvia M3 stove with a glass door, which gives a warm glow to your sauna moments. As an extra order, you can also get a water tank for the stove, which heats the washing water in advance. It is also worth adding a sauna floor drain to the delivery as an extra if you plan to splash about a lot in the sauna. Stove safety is guaranteed, as the package includes a fire-safe chimney package and stove safety walls. Always use fire carefully and responsibly.

Easy and time-saving element delivery to your home yard

Our Arctic Grill Hut with Sauna is no small package, as the whole structure is substantial in size and weight. That is why we deliver it to your home yard mainly as ready-made elements. Roof, walls and floors are delivered as elements. The bottom timbers of the elements are pressure-treated wood and roofing felt is included in the delivery. The foundations are the customer’s responsibility, but to make this easier, you can order a pressure-treated base for the hut and sauna at extra cost. The hut base comes in two elements, and the sauna base is easy to assemble from pre-cut timber. Instructions and building permit drawings for the hut can be requested in advance, so once the delivery arrives you can get straight to turning the Arctic Grill Hut with Sauna into a sauna- and grilling-ready retreat. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and calm enthusiasm for the assembly work. Always read the instructions carefully before starting any work step.
