In the station area, you can live along good public transport connections as part of a village-like community. You can take the train towards Tampere and Jyväskylä from the railway station located less than 1 km from the plot.

Building obligation:

The buyer undertakes to build an apartment building in accordance with the detailed plan, building regulations and approved drawings on the building site within three years of the date of the sale, to a stage of completion sufficient for the building to be approved for use at inspection. The buyer undertakes that, in accordance with the above schedule, a residential building with a floor area of at least 200 k-m2 (e.g. a detached house) will be built on the building site. The building permit must be applied for within one year of signing the deed of sale.

In other respects, the sale is subject to the general reservation and transfer terms for plots decided by the City Board of Orivesi.

Processing of bids

Bids made in the auction are binding.

Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in liability for damages. 

If the sale does not take place with the highest binding bidder for reasons attributable to the bidder, they must pay the seller a penalty fee of 1,000.00 € (one thousand). The city will invoice the penalty fee separately.

NOTE! Ownership and possession will transfer to the buyer under the terms stated in the deed of sale.

The City of Orivesi reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

The final sales decision will be made in accordance with the City of Orivesi administrative rules.

The City Board decides on the purchase and disposal of fixed assets when the price, exchange value or compensation is over 15,000 euros, but not more than 250,000 euros.

After the auction ends, a possible property sale will be prepared for consideration and decision by the competent body. The decision will be notified to the highest bidder. The decision is subject to a period for appeal. The property transaction can only be concluded once the decision has become legally final.
