Bids must be submitted by the specified time. The highest bid is the bid accepted by the seller as the highest. The auction may also be attended in person by submitting a bid to the seller on site. The seller and buyer undertake to record all bids in the system. By placing a bid, the bidder accepts these terms of sale.

Viewing the property

Before placing a bid, the bidder is obliged to familiarise themselves with the property, documents and records concerned and, where necessary, request clarification or further information from the seller. The buyer may not subsequently invoke a matter that could have been discovered during the prior inspection.

Information provided by the seller

The seller warrants that they have provided the buyer with all information known to the seller that may reasonably be expected to affect the transaction.

Completion of the sale

The sale of the property must be completed in the form prescribed by the Code of Real Estate by 10 December 2023. The time and place for signing the deed of sale will be agreed separately with the buyer. The purchase price shall be paid at completion. The fee of the public purchase witness shall be shared equally by the seller and buyer.

Other costs

The buyer is responsible for transfer tax, which is 3% of the debt-free purchase price (unless the buyer meets the requirements for a permanent first-home buyer).

Withdrawal from the sale

Under the Code of Real Estate, a party who refuses to complete the sale must compensate the other party for the reasonable costs incurred from advertising, viewing the property and other necessary measures related to completing the sale.
